I actually just found out that I've been published!
From the mind of talented Alice Lefae comes READ ME, a collaborative art magazine centered in NYC!
Made by young artists FOR young artists!
READ ME contains the combined works of a handful of new upcoming artists looking to share their works and hone their crafts.
From poetry to photography, short stories to drawings, comics to prose, and any other art form you could imagine, READ ME has it all!
The hard copies sell for $5, while a digital download is available at Alice's Etsy shop, The3amlady. The first issue digital copy can be found here: www.etsy.com/listing/398500333…
The themes change issue to issue! For June, the theme was Bees. Because it's a first issue, there are still some kinks that need to be worked out, but for a first draft, it looks amazing!
July we have Secrets.
August we have Treehouses.
September is still a surprise!
I'm so excited to see what else READ ME will have in store. My first addition to the magazine was a small doodle, but my confidence has since grown enough for me to want to do better, draw better, and share better!
I'm so SO happy to be a part of such an amazing experience, I am blessed to have this opportunity to try and better my art and share my love for drawing!
